Students from the College of Information Technology and Computer Science (CITCS) emerged as champions in the HackforGov 2025 Regional Competition held on October 2, 2025, in Baguio City.
The winning team–Kaila Mae E. Bistid, Timothy Eli C. Cada, Rykiel Louizze D. Dela Calzada, and Waincel Lance C. Dumanghi–will proudly represent the Cordillera Administrative Region in the National HackforGov 2025, organized by the Cybersecurity Bureauโs National Computer Emergency Response Team.
Guided by their faculty mentor, Ms. Arnemie Gayyed, the studentsโ innovative approach exhibited teamwork, critical thinking, and mastery of cybersecurity such as cryptography, forensics, and web exploitation, embodying the goal of the Hack4Gov initiative which is to build a more cyber-resilient nation.
