Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative alumna and UC College of Criminal Justice Education (CCJE) faculty member Dr. Jevilyn P. Madalang will share her expertise on cybercrime awareness with out-of-school youths, Lumad learners, and teachers in Magayad, Cagayan de Oro, from November 10 to 12, 2025.

Her sessions will center on understanding cybercrimes, recognizing online threats, and promoting safe digital practices.

As alumna of the YSEALI Women’s Leadership Academy, funded by the U.S. Mission to ASEAN, Dr. Madalang’s engagement forms part of Digital Access for Learning and Networking (DALAN), a community-driven digital hub project designed to bridge learning and livelihood opportunities for remote communities with unpaved road in the Philippines.

She is one of four members spearheading the DALAN project.
