Strengthening cultural heritage through technology, UC and the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples-CAR forged partnership on November 14, 2025, for the project, “Digitalization of Cordilleran Traditional Sports and Games with AI Analytics.”

Funded by DOST-PCIEERD, the collaboration will focus on developing and validating data on Cordilleran traditional sports and games. UC will lead implementation, with both institutions committed to preserving cultural heritage and promoting it through innovative technology.

The project aligns with key United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, advancing quality education (SDG 4) through innovative learning, fostering industry, innovation, and infrastructure (SDG 9) via technological solutions, and supporting sustainable communities (SDG 11) by preserving and promoting Cordilleran cultural heritage for future generations.
