The University of the Cordilleras emerged as the Top 1 Most Sustainable University in the Cordillera Administrative Region. The recognition is based on the results of the UI GreenMetric World University Ranking released in December 2025.

UC ranked 19th among 89 institutions in the Philippines, 303rd out of 864 in Asia, and 532nd among 1,745 universities worldwide.
