Dr. Natividad B. Concepcion of UC-CITCS represented the Philippines in an international academic engagement at Kun Shan University, Taiwan, from December 9 to 12, 2025, under the INTENSE Program. Together with Filipino educators from various universities, Dr. Concepcion joined scholarly discussions that advanced global academic networks.

Through the INTENSE (International Industrial Talents Education Special Program), initiated by Taiwan’s Ministry of Education, UC students are poised to gain access to joint academic programs and developments and expanded career pathways. The initiative promotes education–industry collaboration by fostering international partnerships and nurturing global talent.

The engagement supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals), and SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure), highlighting the role of international collaboration in building innovative and globally responsive education.
