UC, through its College of Teacher Education, has been recognized by the Teacher Education Council as one of the 35 Centers of Excellence for Teacher Education in the Philippines.

The distinction highlights UC’s consistent performance above the national passing rate in the 2024 and 2025 Licensure Examinations for Professional Teachers in both elementary and secondary education, its recognition under the Commission on Higher Education’s Quality Assurance in Teacher Education, and its standing in international rankings.
