The University of the Cordilleras academic staff are advancing their teaching, research, and digital expertise through a Fulbright-funded month-long professional engagement initiative led by Fulbright Specialist Dr. Thomas J. Tobin, from February 1 to 27, 2026. This Fulbright-supported professional exchange strengthens inclusive, future ready teaching, learning, and research across UC’s academic community.

Dr. Tobin’s expertise focuses on Universal Design for Learning, accessibility, online teaching evaluation, academic integrity, and distance education. He regularly delivers international keynote talks and workshops, sharing practical, experience-based strategies that support faculty, academic leaders, and education professionals in improving access, engagement, and learning outcomes for diverse student populations.

He currently serves as a Fulbright Specialist.
