The University welcomed aspiring digital entrepreneurs as it hosted the graduation ceremony of the Beauty for a Better Life E-Beauty Advisor Program on March 9, 2026. The event highlighted the achievements of students and the strong collaboration among government, industry, and the academe.
Two UC students earned recognition as part of the programโs Top 10 Content Creators. BSBA Marketing Management student Mikkie Joy Balisong and BS Entrepreneurship student Grayle Emerald Tayaban were recognized for their outstanding digital beauty content creation.
The six-week training program was implemented through a partnership among the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), L’Orรฉal Philippines, and SPARK! Philippines, in collaboration with the UC College of Business Administration and UC Center for Social Responsibility โ Project H.E.L.E.N.
A total of 267 participants completed the program, including several UC students, with the graduation ceremony held at the universityโs theater. The initiative equipped participants with practical competencies in Haircare, Skincare, Makeup, Mental Health, Digital Content Creation, Sustainable and Responsible Consumption, and Financial Literacy, preparing them for opportunities in the expanding beauty and wellness industry.
The event was also held in celebration of National Womenโs Month, recognizing the role of women in entrepreneurship and community development.
