The University continues to strengthen its global engagement initiatives as it joins the founding members of the Consortium for Study Abroad in the Philippines (CSAP), a significant platform for expanding international academic collaboration and cross-cultural learning.

The consortium was officially launched on March 24, 2026 at SPACE at One Ayala, Makati City, in conjunction with the 78th Anniversary of the Philippine-American Educational Foundation (PAEF). Representing UC at the event were President Dr. Nancy M. Flores, Dean of the College of Architecture and Fine Arts Dr. Irene G. Florendo, and Director of the Global Engagements Office Dr. Christian Pascual.

UC is one of only 15 universities nationwide selected for this Fulbright Commission initiative and the only institution from the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) among its founding members. This distinction affirms the Universityโ€™s growing role in promoting internationalization in Philippine higher education.

As a founding member, UC will help expand opportunities for American students, scholars, and professionals to engage with the Philippines through short-term and semester exchange programs. The partnership is expected to strengthen academic linkages, support international mobility, and promote meaningful cultural and educational exchange in the region.

This milestone reflects UCโ€™s continuing commitment to internationalization and its efforts to create broader pathways for global learning, academic collaboration, and strategic partnerships that enrich the University community.
