The University of the Cordilleras proved its global competitiveness, securing 2nd Runner-Up at the ERPsim APAC Competition 2026. Out of 26 top-performing teams from across the Asia-Pacific region, UC’s delegation distinguished itself through exceptional analytical skills, technical proficiency, and strategic decision-making.

The competition, centered on the Manufacturing Sustainability Game using SAP S/4HANA, challenged participants to manage real-time business operations while monitoring carbon emissions, highlighting the intersection of technology and sustainability. The Univeristy of the Cordilleras’ team, composed of BS Information Technology and BS Computer Science students, demonstrated the University of the Cordilleras’ commitment to cultivating industry-ready graduates grounded in both theory and practice.

This year’s APAC edition featured teams from Vietnam (7), India (7), China (4), the Philippines (5), Indonesia (2), and South Korea (1). UC’s 2nd Runner-Up finish secured its spot in the ERPsim Global Finals on June 11, 2026, where it would compete against leading teams from North America, Latin America, and EMEA regions.

The achievement reflected the University of the Cordilleras’ dedication to technical excellence, ethical responsibility, and sustainability-driven innovation, reinforcing its reputation as a premier institution for IT and computing education in the Asia-Pacific and beyond.
