Sandi Menchi Catlona Abahan successfully defended her title at the 31st Mt. Kinabalu International Climbathon in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia, on October 6, 2024.

She claimed victory in the Woman Elite Champion category, conquering the challenging 26-kilometer route with a summit altitude of 4,095 meters. This marks Abahan’s third triumph at the event, having also secured championship in the 29th and 30th editions back in 2016 and 2017 respectively.
