Student entrepreneurs and innovators from all UC academic colleges converged at the UC Theatre from July 9 to 12, 2025, for the Academic Trade Fair organized by the Society of Junior Entrepreneurs (SJE) under the College of Business Administration (CBA).
The four-day event offered experiential learning opportunities, encouraging students to transform bold ideas into real-world solutions. Through their participation, students honed strategic thinking, communication, and adaptive problem-solving skills while addressing pressing challenges in healthcare, education, technology, and social development.
Among the highlights were student-led booths showcasing technopreneurship prototypes, interdisciplinary capstone projects, and entrepreneurial and social impact initiatives. The fair also featured networking sessions, expert-led mentorships, and keynote talks from industry leaders focused on innovation-driven entrepreneurship and sustainable business practices.
The event also welcomed participation from key UC units and partner government agencies, including the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).
Community Partners who also participated in the event were the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology Regional Office – CAR, Blessed Community for Person’s with Disability, Inc., and the DSWD – Sustainable Livelihood Program Association.
