The University of the Cordilleras, through its Center for Social Responsibility under Project H.E.L.E.N., in partnership with the College of Business Administration, supported the Baguio City Cooperative Development Council (BCCDC) Strategic Planning and Team Building Session in September 2026 at the Philex Community Multipurpose Cooperative in New Lucban Road, Baguio City.

The activity gathered newly elected BCCDC officers and committee members for capacity-building sessions aimed at strengthening teamwork, leadership, and organizational development. Ms. Gladys R. Corpuz facilitated the morning team-building session, while Dr. Bobby P. Atayan of the UC College of Business Administration served as the resource speaker for the afternoon strategic planning session.

The strategic planning session presented practical frameworks for evaluating Board performance and clarifying the respective roles and responsibilities of the Board of Directors and the General Manager, promoting accountability and effective cooperative governance.

Through Project H.E.L.E.N., UC continues to advance its community engagement initiatives by supporting local stakeholders in strengthening organizational capacity, leadership, and sustainable development.
