Four fourth-year Bachelor of Science in Accountancy students from the UC College of Accountancy won the national championship of the Deloitte Tax Challenge on October 6, 2026, at Deloitte Philippines in Bonifacio Global City.

The winning team comprised Chris Jericho Ordanza, Carina Jane Chulsi, Japhet Nathan Magollado, and Arfiele Zhairome Ramiscal, who secured their place among the Top 15 teams advancing to the national round following the competitionโ€™s preliminary stages in late August.

Ordanza also earned first runner-up honors for Best Speaker, recognizing his individual performance in the competition.

As national champions, the students will represent the Philippines in the regional round scheduled for January 2027 in Jakarta, Indonesia, where they will compete against representatives from other countries.
