The Commission issues a Certificate of Authority to reopen campus for the conduct of limited face-to-face classes of Nursing RLE Courses effective April 15, 2021 to first semester of AY 2021-2022.

CHED’s approval is the collective result of three-phased inspections: preliminary by CHED on March 2, 2021; actual by CHED, LGU- Baguio, and DOH-CAR on April 6, 2021; post by CHED on April 20, 2021. The approval of the reopening of limited F2F classes includes document evaluation of learning continuity plan, facility inspection, observation on demonstration of skills-laboratory classes and other related activities.

Among the initiatives of UC on top of facility retrofitting is the installation of Gatekeeper which scans the student school ID using RFID/QR code technology to allow or disallow entrance of students based on class schedules. The utilization of StaySafe Ph App is deployed for effective contact tracing.
