Six graduating students who qualified for UC Presidentโs Citation for Leadership Award underwent a panel interview in August 2026 as part of the Universityโs annual selection for Leadership Citation awardee.
Organized by the Student Affairs ServicesโStudent Development and Welfare Center, the program recognizes graduating students who have demonstrated exemplary leadership, significant achievements, commendable personal qualities, and dedicated service to the UC community.
During the panel interview, the top six qualifiers introduced themselves and responded to questions based on their introductions and submitted profiles. The panel was composed of UC VP for Administration and Student Services Dr. Rhodora A. Ngolob, Vice President for Academics Dr. Ariel Nimo B. Pumecha, and Vice President for Research, Innovation, and Institutional Planning Dr. Thelma D. Palaoag.
The Leadership Citation is a distinction awarded to a student who has demonstrated outstanding leadership throughout their tenure at UC. The selected awardee will be recognized during the 80th Commencement Exercises for Academic Year 2025โ2026.
