The University, through the Center for Social Responsibility โ€“ Project H.E.L.E.N., turned over its first full batch of electronic waste to the City Environment and Parks Management Office (CEPMO), represented by Engr. Wilbur Suanding, in May 2025.

The haul, gathered from UC students and employees, included telephones, routers, mobile phones, tablets, laptops, chargers, batteries, cables, power banks, and flash drives. All items were sent to a treatment facility in Barangay Bakakeng Central for safe handling.

This initiative is part of UCโ€™s Greenovation Sustainability Campaign, reinforcing the call for responsible e-waste management and advancing the goal of a zero-waste campus.
