As a spinoff academic unit from the College of Engineering, the College of Architecture and Fine Arts gains the advantage of shaping a curriculum more closely aligned with global standards, accreditation requirements, and the evolving professional competencies expected of architects.

The College offers BS Architecture, Bachelor of Fine Arts, MS Architecture, and a Transnational Master’s in Architecture.

Dr. Irene G. Florendo is the Founding Dean of the newly established College. She is among the three pioneering graduates of the PhD in Design and Built Environment program at the University of the Philippines Diliman and completed her MS in Architecture as Magna Cum Laude at the University of Santo Tomas.

A registered and licensed architect and a conferred Fellow of the United Architects of the Philippines, Baguio City Chapter, Dr. Florendo has extensive experience as a lecturer and professor in international universities. She is also a published author and co-author of research and innovation papers.
