The University of the Cordilleras (UC) officially became a member of the Amianan Consortium on May 19, 2026, following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) by University President Dr. Nancy M. Flores.

The Consortium, composed of sixteen higher education institutions across Northern Luzon, promotes collaborative research, academic publications, and knowledge exchange centered on indigenous knowledge systems and peace education. The initiative aligns with the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) policies on the integration and advancement of Indigenous Peoples Studies in higher education.

Through its membership, UC is positioned to actively contribute to consortium-wide initiatives, with the College of Arts and Sciences serving as the Universityโ€™s lead academic unit for engagement and implementation.
