The University of the Cordilleras, through the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs, conducted a learning session titled โ€œRevisiting Research Writing: Rethinking PhD Thesis, Grants, Articles, and Booksโ€ on October 12, 2026, to expand faculty opportunities for international advanced studies and external research funding.

Dr. Carljohnson Anacin, a researcher at Griffith University in Australia, shared insights on pursuing PhD opportunities at international universities and navigating research grant applications.

The initiative reinforces UCโ€™s commitment to strengthening faculty qualifications, expanding global academic networks, and enhancing the universityโ€™s capacity to secure external research funding. It also encourages faculty members to develop research ideas into fundable projects and impactful scholarly publications.
