Through its Guidance Services and Wellness Center (GSWC), the University of the Cordilleras (UC) spearheaded a month-long observance of World Suicide Prevention Month 2026, anchored on the campaign theme, โStories Still Unfolding: Changing the Narrative through Connection and Hope.โ
The initiative featured a series of activities that promoted safe spaces for connection, self-expression, and emotional support, emphasizing the importance of fostering hope and strengthening community support systems.
Through the campaign, UC underscored that suicide prevention begins with meaningful conversations, compassionate listening, and genuine human connection, affirming that every person has a story worth hearing and a future worth embracing.
