Gabriel R. De Guzman, faculty member and Program Chair of the University of the Cordilleras College of Business Administration (CBA), was recognized as the Best WEN Ignite Educator by the Wadhwani Foundation on February 4, 2026.

The recognition was conferred after Mr. De Guzman was named the Top 1 Most Promising Entrepreneur Educator in the 1st Cohort of 2026, highlighting his outstanding contributions to entrepreneurship education and his commitment to developing innovative and industry-responsive learning environments.

The award honors educators who demonstrate excellence in mentoring aspiring entrepreneurs and advancing entrepreneurship education through transformative teaching practices. De Guzman’s recognition further affirms the University of the Cordilleras’ continuing efforts to strengthen academic leadership and innovation in business education.
