The University of the Cordilleras (UC)โ€“College of Business Administration (UC CBA), through the Junior Financial Executives Student Organization in partnership with UC Project H.E.L.E.N., formally turned over the first wave of donations and signed a Memorandum of Agreement with Furvent Sanctuary on April 10, 2026. The initiative was held in the presence of Ms. Lovely Tuazon, founder of Furvent Sanctuary.

The ceremony was also joined by the UC Barristers Club and attended by UC Vice President for Administration and Student Services, Dr. Rhodora A. Ngolob, underscoring a unified commitment among student organizations and university leadership in advancing animal welfare advocacy.

Furvent Sanctuary, a local shelter dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and care of abandoned and vulnerable animals, received essential supplies as part of the initial donation turnover. The MOA formalizes the sustained collaboration between the University and the sanctuary.
