The University of the Cordilleras – Center for Social Responsibility, through Project H.E.L.E.N., in partnership with UC Student Affairs Services โ Guidance Services and Wellness Center (SAS-GSWC), conducted a community engagement activity at Crystal Cave Integrated School in March 2026.
The activity aimed to promote mental health awareness among students and teachers, encourage a supportive school environment, and strengthen collaboration between the University and its partner community.
Students from Grades 5 to 8 participated in mental health sessions facilitated by SASโGSWC, focusing on emotional awareness, self-expression, and basic coping strategies through interactive discussions.
As part of the initiative, 100 assorted books donated by Children International Philippines Inc. (CIPI) were turned over to support the establishment of a reading corner in the school. Additionally, 440 bars of soap were distributed to beneficiaries.
