The University of the Cordilleras – College of Arts and Sciences’ (CAS) BS Political Science students mobilized a community pantry in March and April 2026, extending support to local drivers through the collection and distribution of essential goods.

The donation drive was conducted at the office of CAS where students gathered items such as canned goods, rice, noodle packs, and biscuits. Collected donations were subsequently turned over to partner communities through the Baguio Commuters’ Network, with distributions held in Barangay Camp 7 on March 30 and Barangay Aurora Hill on April 9.

Organized in partnership with the Baguio Commuters’ Forum under its “Commuters Pantry PARA sa mga Tsuper” initiative, the activity provided assistance to jeepney drivers, recognizing their vital role in the city’s daily mobility.
