Six BS Computer Engineering students from the University of the Cordilleras (UC) will undertake an international on-the-job training (OJT) program at Actron Technology Corporation in Taoyuan City, Taiwan, from May 5 to November 1, 2026.
The internship offers hands-on exposure to global engineering practices in automotive electronics. Actron Technology Corporation, established in 1998, is a leading manufacturer specializing in the design and development of automotive electronic components, driven by its vision to become a global leader in the industry.
The students will depart on May 5, accompanied by OJT adviser Engr. Dionisio Tandingan Jr. and College of Engineering Dean Dr. Rose Ellen Macabiog. The visit aims to ensure proper training alignment, monitor student welfare, and strengthen ties with industry partners while exploring future international opportunities.
The initiative underscores UCโs push for internationalization and its commitment to producing globally competitive engineers through industry-based learning beyond the Philippines.
