The University of the Cordilleras College of Teacher Education demonstrated academic excellence after two of its alumni secured spots in the Top 10 of the March 2026 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT).ย ๐๐ฌ๐๐๐๐ฅ ๐๐๐๐จ๐๐จ ๐๐๐๐๐ฐ๐ข๐ฅ ranked 8th in the Elementary Level, while ๐๐๐ฅ๐ญ๐ซ๐๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐๐๐ฎ๐ญ๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐ ๐๐๐ฅ๐๐ซ๐ข๐จ placed 10th in the Secondary Level.
Beyond its topnotchers, UC College of Teacher Education also sustained performance well above the national passing rates.
In the Elementary Level, the College recorded a 96.77% passing rate for first-time examinees and a 96.88% overall performance rating, surpassing the 56.08% national passing rate.
In the Secondary Level, the College achieved a 96.80% first-timers passing rate and a 90.91% overall performance rating, significantly higher than the national passing rate of 73.14%.
The outstanding results reflected the Universityโs continuing commitment to quality teacher education, excellence in instruction, and the formation of future educators who will shape communities and inspire generations.
