The University of the Cordilleras (UC), through its Center for Social Responsibility – Project H.E.L.E.N., reaffirmed its partnership with the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Tublay, Benguet, during the Renewal of Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) Signing Ceremony held on May 13, 2026, at the Municipal Hall of Tublay.
The renewed agreement strengthens the long-standing collaboration between UC and the Municipality of Tublay in implementing programs centered on community development, public service, capacity building, and social responsibility.
The ceremony opened with welcome remarks from Hon. Cruso M. Daguioa, Jr., Municipal Vice-Mayor of Tublay, who emphasized the value of sustained partnerships in advancing community welfare. Ms. Gladys R. Corpuz, Head of the UC Center for Social Responsibility, also presented an overview of the partnership, highlighting the shared initiatives and continuing objectives of both institutions.
Representing UC, Dr. Rhodora A. Ngolob, Vice President for Administration and Student Services, reaffirmed UCโs commitment to extending its resources, expertise, and outreach programs to partner communities. Meanwhile, Hon. Juan L. Esnara, Municipal Mayor of Tublay, expressed gratitude for the universityโs continued support and recognized its positive contributions to local development initiatives.
