Demonstrating its commitment to community engagement, the University of the Cordilleras College of Arts and Sciences mobilized its flagship extension initiative, CAS: Care and Share, during the Barangay Karao Fiesta 2026 Service Caravan held in May 2026 at Karao Elementary School.

Residents benefited from free mental health consultations, basic healthcare services, and legal assistance.

Spearheaded by the UC CAS College Student Council in partnership with UC Project H.E.L.E.N.’s โ€œBubbles of Careโ€ project, the initiative brought together the UC Psychology and Political Science Departments, the UC College of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences, and volunteer lawyers from the Integrated Bar of the Philippines.
