A total of 120 Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering students and 13 Bachelor of Science in Environmental and Sanitary Engineering students from the University of the Cordilleras College of Engineering participated in the Hardhatting and Pinning Ceremony held on July 6, 2026, at the UC Theatre.
The ceremony formally recognized the students’ readiness to undertake their on-the-job training (OJT), signifying their transition from academic preparation to industry immersion.
The hardhat and pinning rites symbolize the engineering profession’s commitment to technical competence, workplace safety, ethical practice, and professional responsibility as students prepare to apply engineering principles and standards in real-world infrastructure, construction, environmental, and allied engineering sectors.
