The University of the Cordilleras (UC), through its College of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences (CONAHS), successfully hosted the 2026 NEPraGuild Midyear Conference and Workshop on July 16โ€“17 at the UC Theater, bringing together nurse educators, practitioners, researchers, clinicians, and students from across the Philippines and abroad for two days of scholarly exchange and professional development.

The conference featured keynote addresses, plenary lectures, panel discussions, and specialized workshops that highlighted innovations in nursing practice, patient safety, health literacy, research, and nursing education. International and local experts shared evidence-based strategies and emerging perspectives aimed at strengthening the profession and improving healthcare outcomes.

The event also showcased the expertise of UC faculty members, who served as speakers, panelists, workshop facilitators, and conference organizers, led by Dr. Judith Odanee G. Magwilang, Dean of UC CONAHS and Vice President for Internal Affairs of NEPraGuild, Inc. Delegates likewise participated in educational tours and collaborative activities that fostered academic partnerships and professional networking.
