The University of the Cordilleras (UC), through its Center for Social Responsibility (CSR) under Project H.E.L.E.N., partnered with the Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Office and the Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (JPIA) to conduct Lingkod Bayanihan for Banget Elementary School on June 30, 2026, in Ampucao, Itogon, Benguet.

The community engagement initiative brought together student volunteers and university personnel in improving the school’s learning environment through repainting, cleaning, and landscaping activities. To promote disaster preparedness, the OSH Office also conducted an emergency signal orientation for Grade 5 and Grade 6 learners.

As part of the University’s support for the school community, UC donated 200 pieces of organic soap and five emergency signal kits to strengthen health, hygiene, and safety efforts. The activity underscored UC’s commitment to volunteerism, environmental stewardship, and meaningful partnerships that create lasting impact in local communities.
