University of the Cordilleras – College of Architecture and Fine Arts student Noah G. Ladringan, who creates under the artist name Nowa.Artt, secured 3rd Place in the Regular Graphic Novel Category of the Young Creatives Challenge (YC2) Season 3 โ Regular Edition for his graphic novel, “Kisapmata.”
Ladringanโs national recognition highlights the creative talent and artistic potential of UC students, bringing a distinctive student voice to the countryโs growing creative industries. Through Kisapmata, the Fine Arts student demonstrated his ability to translate ideas and narratives into visual storytelling, earning a place among young Filipino creatives recognized at the national level.
Organized by the Philippine Creative Industries Development Council (PCIDC) Secretariat in collaboration with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) through the Malikhaing Pinoy Program, YC2 is a nationwide competition that provides young Filipinos with a platform to showcase works across creative disciplines, including graphic novels, filmmaking, animation, music, and digital arts.
The winners of YC2 Season 3 โ Regular Edition were officially announced following the Grand Finale on July 17, 2026, at the SMX Convention Center Aura in Taguig City.
