The University of the Cordilleras, through the Center for Social Responsibility and its Project H.E.L.E.N., in partnership with UC Occupational Safety and Health Office, conducted a community initiative on June 26, 2026, at Mabini Elementary School in Baguio City.
The community engagement initiative brought together student volunteers from the College of Criminal Justice Education and the College of Hospitality and Tourism Management to help improve selected school facilities and maintain a clean, safe, and conducive learning environment. Volunteers participated in repainting selected facilities, cleaning the school grounds, and removing weeds around the campus.
As part of the initiative, the CSR Office also donated one box containing 200 pieces of organic soap to support health and hygiene among the schoolโs learners, faculty, and wider school community.
