A total of 940 Bachelor of Science in Nursing students of the University of the Cordilleras โ College of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences marked a significant milestone in their professional journey during the 22nd Capping, Pinning, and Candle Lighting Ceremony on July 28, 2026, at the UC Gymnasium.
Held in morning and afternoon sessions, the ceremony carried the theme โRooted in Learning: Vessel of Light, Service, and Identity,โ symbolizing the studentsโ transition from academic preparation toward clinical practice and the responsibilities of the nursing profession.
Through the ceremonial capping, pinning, and candle lighting, the student nurses affirmed their commitment to compassionate, ethical, and competent patient care.
