The University has been honored with a Plaque of Commendation for being a Finalist of the 2023 Capacity Development (CapDev) Game Changer Award presented by the Department of Interior and Local Government – Local Government Academy.

This recognition celebrates UC’s influential community outreach, extension programs, and research initiatives that have significantly contributed to the needs of UC’s partner Local Government Units.

Geared towards achieving local governance excellence, the University’s projects encompassed capacity building, disaster risk management, water resource management, agritourism, and governance.
