Ma. Kryzelle R. Unson, a senior high school student at UC Integrated School, won the Silver Medal in the Senior Secondary Group category at the Thailand International Mathematical Olympiad held in Pattaya, Thailand, in April 2023.

In recognition of her achievement, Unson received the 2024 Youth Excellence in Science Award from the Department of Science and Technology for her exceptional performance in international STEM Olympiads. She was awarded the honor in Baguio City on August 14, 2024.
