UC students, educators, and media practitioners participated at the Media and Information Literacy Program on November 15, 2024, at the UC Theater. The event aimed to sharpen skills in Artificial Intelligence, Fact-Checking, Visual Storytelling, and Cybersecurity and Digital Hygiene.

Organized under the Scholastic Outreach Program, the initiative was a joint effort by the Philippine Press Institute and Hanns Seidel Foundation in partnership with the UC College of Arts and Sciences.

Participants explored cutting-edge strategies to effectively deliver information in today’s media landscape and to ensure informed and responsible media practice.
