Students from the College of Hospitality and Tourism Management (CHTM) secured 1st Runner-Up and recognitions at the Y4TH International Conference held on November 16, 2024, in Quezon City.

The team, composed of Junio Jeankieth L. Cariño, Mary Jennifer M. Moltio, Shania T. Olipane, Josh Raven B. Sawal, and Zeira C. Tamayo, clinched 1st Runner-Up in the Tourism Start-Up Competition with their innovative TUKLAS Application. This gamified digital platform promotes sustainable tourism by enhancing visibility in local villages and creating equitable income sharing through interactive quests and a rewards system.

Two additional entries earned recognition, securing Top 7 in the Research Infographics Poster Presentation and Top 6 in the Travel Brochure Making Competition.

The conference gathered participants from 30 schools across the Philippines.
