140 first-year students from UC toured the BenCab Museum as part of their Art Appreciation class in November 2024.

The museum, established by National Artist Benedicto Cabrera, showcased both traditional and contemporary arts by Cabrera himself and other prominent Filipino artists.

The visit provided students with an opportunity to appreciate both Philippine and Cordilleran culture and arts.

The activity allowed students to engage in immersive learning while supporting local artists. It also helped them fulfill course objectives by critiquing and exploring art, creativity, and local culture.
