Grade 11 Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS) students from UC Senior High School clinched 2nd Best Research Presentation at Salikseek 2025, a national research congress organized by the UP Communication Research Society held at UP Diliman.

The team composed of Yelynna, Yelynna Angelie Kate B. Acosta, Ghisleen Hannah M. Baldemor, Charlie James P. Batin, Leon Paul D. Cando, and Jamielle Kaye Yzabella C. Paras impressed the panel with their study titled โ€œFilipino Fame or Foreign Gain: Studentsโ€™ Preferences and Identifying Factors in Engaging with Pinoy-Baiting YouTube Content.โ€

Their achievement highlights the growing research culture among UC SHS students and their critical engagement with timely media issues.
