Two teams from UC College of Arts and Sciences have triumphed as grand champion and second runner up in the European Union (EU) Whiz 2021.

Jan Blanco and Nyssa Tagapulot have bagged the top spot in the EU Whiz Digital Art Competition besting 100 other entries.

Jillian Ramos, Ella Bie, and Thea Lomboy’s video entry has been awarded as 2nd Runner Up among 149 entries in the EU Whiz Video Competition.

The winning UC CAS students are now Goodwill Ambassadors between the Philippines and the European Union advocating shared values of green and circular economies. Also, champions of biodiversity protection and proponents of the protection of youth rights.

An annual intercollegiate competition, this year’s theme is “EU Whiz: Filipino Youth of the fEUture.”
