The University’s Research Services Office, in partnership with the Political Science Society, student organization of Political Science students, conducted a Policy-Making Seminar and Workshop on October 23, 2025, aimed at enhancing participants’ expertise and understanding of evidence-based governance and research translation.

The seminar-workshop emphasized the value of data-driven decision-making in addressing societal issues and guided participants through the essential frameworks, stages, and stakeholder roles involved in developing effective public policies.

Students from various UC academic colleges, university personnel, and guest participants from Benguet State University took part in the event, creating a dynamic environment for collaboration, knowledge sharing, and applied learning.

As part of the workshop output, participants translated their research findings into concise and actionable policy recommendations.
