Dr. Leo Peter N. Dacumos, faculty member of UC College of Teacher Education, has been officially elevated from Associate Member to Regular Member of the National Research Council of the Philippines following approval by its Governing Board.

The distinction recognizes sustained scholarly contributions, a qualified H-index, and successful completion of a rigorous multi-level endorsement and election process. The promotion reflects Dr. Dacumosโ€™ continued engagement in impactful research and academic leadership.

Dr. Dacumosโ€™ elevation marks a significant professional accomplishment and adds to the growing roster of distinguished researchers within UC’s academic community.

He is set to take his oath in March 2026.
