UC and the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority โ€“ Cordillera Administrative Region (TESDA-CAR) forged a partnership through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at the TESDA-CAR Regional Office on March 19, 2026.

Signed by UC President Dr. Nancy M. Flores and TESDA-CAR Acting Regional Director Engr. Glenn N. Murphy, the agreement aims to strengthen technical-vocational education and training in the region. Key initiatives include aligning academic programs with national competency standards, facilitating competency-based training, and providing TESDA certification to UC students.

The partnership also opens doors for faculty development, course credit equivalencies, collaborative research, and international opportunities, such as Erasmus-funded projects. Through this collaboration, UC aims to produce industry-ready graduates equipped with nationally recognized skills, reinforcing the Universityโ€™s commitment to lifelong learning and employability.
