Students, faculty members, and staff of UC College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) extended its flagship “Care and Share” Community Extension Program to Barangay Pito in Bokod, Benguet, in line with the village’s 55th founding anniversary celebration on March 6, 2026.

Anchored on the theme “Hamak di Ili, Hamak ni Kailyan, Pan Aapuhlan,” the initiative emphasized service, solidarity, and compassion by delivering free health and legal assistance to residents.

The outreach, in collaboration with UC College of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences, UC Center for Social Responsibility, District 301C LEO Club, and the Integrated Bar of the Philippines–Baguio Chapter, benefited a total of 196 community members.

Health services covered free blood typing, blood pressure monitoring, blood sugar testing, and hypertension awareness sessions. Beneficiaries also received mental health counseling and psychological consultations, while others availed themselves of free legal aid services.
