The European Union Erasmus+ Program has collaborated with nine Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), including UC, as consortium members: 6 partner country HEIs from Cambodia, Malaysia, and The Philippines; 3 EU Partners from Poland, Spain, and Greece; and a consulting firm in Luxembourg. This is for the advancement of its Geomatics for Disaster Risk Reduction (GeoDRR) Project.
The Project supports the capacity building of participating HEIs for the development and delivery of a specialized Masters in Science in GeoDRR Program.
UC Research Services Office Executive Director Engr. Nathaniel Vincent A. Lubrica served as one of the moderators during the GeoDRR 1st Training and 2nd Project Meeting on September 27-30, 2021. The event was joined by 40 participants from the consortium members.
Training topics included GeoDRR Curriculum and MSc Delivery Guide, Linking Stakeholder Assessment to GeoDRR Curriculum, and GeoDRR Website and Branding and Dissemination.
