The University of the Cordilleras InTTO held Train the Trainers 12 โ€“ Midterms on January 16, 2026, convening UC technopreneurship educators for an intensive learning session focused on ideation and business validation.

Faculty members took part in discussions and hands-on activities on Design Thinking, facilitated by Ms. Avereen D. Tibalao, and the Business Model Canvas, led by Ms. Hailie Lexis B. Galvez. The sessions introduced structured methods for understanding user needs, refining innovative ideas, and turning concepts into viable business models applicable to both classroom instruction and startup mentoring.

The training reinforced educatorsโ€™ capacity to mentor students toward solution-driven innovations and sustainable entrepreneurial projects.

The initiative aligns with the UN SDGs, particularly Quality Education through capacity-building for educators, Decent Work and Economic Growth by promoting entrepreneurship and innovation, and Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure by nurturing solution-driven, scalable ideas.
