Honorable Li Xiaoyan, Consul and Head of Post of the Consulate of the People’s Republic of China, undertook a strategic engagement with the University of the Cordilleras (UC) on June 5, 2026.

The visit provided a platform for meaningful dialogue on strengthening academic cooperation and forging institutional linkages between UC and the Chinese Consulate. Discussions centered on expanding faculty and student mobility programs, advancing collaborative research initiatives in emerging and advanced technologies, and promoting intercultural understanding through academic and cultural exchange activities.

The engagement also explored opportunities for future partnerships that support knowledge exchange, innovation-driven research, and capacity-building initiatives. UC continues to enhance its global academic footprint while cultivating cross-border collaborations that contribute to excellence in teaching, research, and community engagement.
