Eight pre-service teachers from the University of the Cordilleras College of Teacher Education are set to undertake a 30-day international teaching practicum and cultural exchange at Chalermkwansatree School in Phitsanulok, Thailand.
The overseas practicum forms part of the University’s participation in the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization SEA-Teacher Project, a flagship student teacher exchange initiative that equips future educators with authentic cross-cultural teaching experiences.
Through immersion in an international learning environment, the program enables participants to broaden their global perspectives, strengthen their pedagogical competencies, and cultivate the intercultural, instructional, and professional skills essential for 21st-century education.
Scheduled from July 4 to August 6, 2026, the internship underscores the University of the Cordilleras’ continuing commitment to preparing globally competent, culturally responsive, and future-ready educators capable of making meaningful contributions to classrooms across borders.
